Today we got to dress down, however a lot of people did not get to dress down because they did not pay to dress down. Today in reading results we continued to read a book called Dear Mr.Henshaw. It is a really good book we are on page 93. We are more than half way through the whole book! For our class novel we are reading a book called Lunch Money. In this book a little boy named Greg was punched in the face accidentally by a girl named Maura.
Later after Readers Workshop we went to recess. Most of us managed to stay really clean today and Ms. Dahl was excited because the playground was a little muddy. During lunch we had a pizza party from Ms. W for having 99% attendance for September. Lunch was delicious!
Art class was pretty cool today. We had to critque our self portraits and that required us to be reflective just like we do for inquiry and other things with Ms. Dahl.
During Inquiry we split up into our teams for our projects so that we could set our norms. It sounds like a person's name - Norm but it really means figuring out how we want our group to run. We had to decide where are we going to meet, what are our rules, and what materials do we need to bring with us to the group meeting.
