A busy day

Rain rain go away! When we came in today most of us were wet from the rain!  It looks liked we had gone to a swiming pool before school, IN OUR UNIFORMS!  Some of us stepped in puddles of water and got our feet wet.  Some people remembered their umbrellas and stayed dry.

This morning we worked on vocabulary!  It was pretty hard.  Today we continued the Fountas and Pinnell assessment.  While Ms. Dahl was doing that we had to complete our capitalization worksheet.  This is proving to be quite a challenge for us!  We don't like to capitalize anything!  Today was a bit easier for some of us but harder for some of us.

UGH! Today for lunch we had this sorta meat loaf patty, it was like mystery meat.  It was GROSS!  There was wheat bread under the mystery meat.  It was drenched in gravy.  We also had pineapple.  The pineapple was delicious.  Some people were very lucky that they brought their lunch today.  Some students were even begging for parts of others lunches since the school lunch was so gross.

In math today we had to do greater than and less than.  We also had to use our slate and markers.  Our entire class represented number sentences with greater than and less than.  We had to work together.  Today some of us did not have Math Intervention because Ms. S was unavailable.

Despite the rainy day we had a good day! (Though one of us thinks it was a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day.)

Our goal for tomorrow is to have a smooth transition to art.
