The Principal's Test Story

Today we had an awesome and cool day! This the second day of Anti Bullying Month. Yesterday, Melody shared an interesting fact about bullying with the whole school on the morning announcements. She told us that 1 out of 4 kids is bullied sometime during their school years. Today, Nichelle, wants to share that we completed a bullying survey to help the adults know how much help we need to squash out bullying! Later this week we are participating in a poster making contest about anti-bullying!

Today was our second day in our new Reading Results classes. Yesterday some of us had to change to new classes. Ms. Dahl ate more rocks during her class!! Our new class is really big for those of us who stay here at Indiana University!

For lunch today we had Salisbury Steak, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and oranges.

We completed our first Principal's Test for Math. After that we took a minute challenge test for our multiplication facts. Yesterday in math we reviewed the properties for multiplication. Some of us also worked on PEMDAS - remember to: Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally. Unfortunately our Touch Math class has come to an end but we'll start something new with Ms. S and Ms. M.

Ms. Dahl was able to reserve the laptop cart. We used the laptops to get on Apangea! Ms. Dahl posts a chart that shows how often we use. We are also using the laptops for our "Finding Out" session of our inquiry unit! We're working hard to answer our inquiry questions about our unit on natural disasters caused by earthquakes, hurricanes and volcanoes. Melody says, "Earthquakes can cause a lot of injuries to people."

Ms. B left early today because she has to go to her college classes. Ms. Dahl was being silly again!

Please feel free to leave us school appropriate comments.
