Symbaloo Update

Hi everyone-

Finding equivalent fractions is the standard we need to work on the most. Today I updated our class Symbaloo page to include links to 3 activities that will help you/your child practice identifying and describing equivalent fractions. Happy practicing!

Wrapping up the Explorers Unit

I learned that explorers wanted to find land, spices,gold,and treasure . Technology helped me because it helped me to learn more about Ponce de Leon and his life. My favorite part was when we were working together on the boats and making every thing because we made all of the stuff on our own.

My Explorer Experience

My favorite part was when I acted like I was cleaning on the ship. I was a sailor so I could've pretended to act like I was arguing with the chef about what I wanted to eat. that would've been cooler. i had very much trouble working with one of my group members. She and I never agreed on anything. I found out that working with people can be cool sometimes. I think technology helped because I couldn't have done any of this with out it. My favorite resource I used was Why Explorers Explored on our Symbaloo page.

The Living Museum

I learned that explorers use the moon so they will know where they are going and they will not get lost.Explorers  explored because there land need food and water to survive.Working with others is very important because if you work with somebody they will become your friend and then when you keep working with somebody it will become easy for you to work with other people.My favorite part was when people was pushing the start button and i had to read my script my role was Hernando Cortes and i was the captain.The people that was with me was Mayra Larry Nancy and myself.
